One-on-One Assistance
Whether you are having troubles with technology, need job search support, have a question on your library account or are just looking for your next read, our friendly and knowledgeable West Fargo Public Library staff are available during business hours to help you answer your questions. Technology Tutors
The West Fargo Public Library offers technology coaching by 30-minute appointment on Tuesdays from 3 - 6 p.m. Our volunteer technology tutors are available to assist with topics such as basic computer, tablet, eReader, or smartphone skills; basic internet and browser skills; setting up email or social media accounts; learning how to use apps and websites; and streaming and downloading digital media like ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines. Reference Services
The West Fargo Public Library team is happy to help with your reference needs at the service desk as library traffic allows. If you need in-depth one-on-one assistance with genealogy, pulling resources, or other more time-consuming tasks, consider filling out our Online Reference Help Form. Community Resource Walk-in Help
Staff from Job Service North Dakota and Community Options, Inc. are available at the West Fargo Public Library from 1 to 3 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month.
Job Service ND staff offer job-seeking assistance, veteran services, information on training programs, resume-building assistance, limited unemployment insurance assistance, and migrant and seasonal farmworker services.
Community Options staff offer a range of services dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals through personalized support. This support is focused on promoting individual choice, dignity, and respect across various aspects of life, such as meaningful employment, housing, relationships, and community involvement.
Family History Research Assistance
The West Fargo Public Library team is available to help you get started with your genealogy project as library traffic allows.
