Lieutenant Adam Gustafson was part of the West Fargo Police Department family since March 2009.

During his time with the department, Lieutenant Gustafson moved up the ranks, from his starting role as an Officer to a Sergeant, and most recently was promoted to a Lieutenant in January 2018. 

Lieutenant Gustafson died while on duty on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, from a heart attack while at the police station. 

Lieutenant Adam Gustafson's life will not be remembered by how he died, but by how he lived.
